DAY 1: Introduction, Think Ahead, Decision Making, and Consequences
The first lesson demonstrates how choices lead to consequences, both negative and positive. A flowchart activity helps show the process of decision making. This shows the cause and effect nature of choices.

DAY 2: Media
The message from this day is to show how the media influences behavior. Typically, the media doesn’t show negative consequences. Today’s activity helps youth analyze the media to show that entertainment is not reality.

DAY 3: STDs, Condoms, and Pregnancy
The message from this day is to show the physical, emotional, mental and social consequences of sex before marriage. The animated sexually transmitted disease (STD) cartoons show the difference between viral and bacterial STDs. This provides accurate information about STDs regarding symptoms, outcomes, transmission and treatment. The medical information explains how condoms can help at times to reduce, but not eliminate the risk. This day ends by giving statics on teen pregnancy and the reality of being a teen parent.

DAY 4: Relationships, and Emotions
This day’s lesson explains that different emotions are normal in the teenage years, and the emotions can change quickly and drastically. Keeping that in mind, relationships, including friendships, can become more confusing with all the emotions. Youth analyze emotions, decisions and perspectives through an interactive DVD activity.

DAY 5: Boundaries & Limits, Be Prepared, and Conclusion
The last lesson demonstrates how the decision making process changes after having knowledge of all possible consequences of each decision. The flowchart activity from day 1 is revisited to see if the outcome would be different after planning ahead and discussing all possible consequences.
